1. Professional Licensing and Compliance

We reserve the right to refuse any requested service that violates these safety or municipal compliance standards.
2. Proposals, Bids, and Execution
- Estimates: All commercial bids, RFPs, and residential estimates provided by King Tree Services are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Municipal Permitting: While King Tree Services may assist in drafting Tree Preservation Plans, CRZ compliance reports, or securing street closure permits, the property owner or managing HOA is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all municipal, county, and historical board (e.g., ARB, DRB) approvals are finalized prior to the commencement of work.
- Hidden Contingencies: Proposals are based on visible, surface-level conditions. King Tree Services is not liable for damage to unmarked or undisclosed subterranean infrastructure, including but not limited to irrigation systems, septic tanks, invisible dog fences, or private utility lines not marked by Miss Utility (811).
3. Commercial Payment Terms
Payment is due upon the completion of the contracted work unless a prior Net-30 commercial agreement has been established in writing between King Tree Services LLC and the corporate entity, HOA board, or general contractor. Past due commercial accounts may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) on the unpaid balance. In the event of default, the client agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney fees.
4. Limitation of Liability
King Tree Services LLC maintains over $2,000,000 in Commercial General Liability Insurance to protect our clients and operations. However, to the maximum extent permitted by Virginia law, King Tree Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our Services, including but not limited to lost profits, delayed construction timelines, or business interruptions caused by severe weather events or municipal stop-work orders beyond our direct control.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, text, graphics, logos, and case studies presented on this Site are the exclusive property of King Tree Services LLC and are protected by United States copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any material from this Site for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
